The ventilation insert for the original sliding window on the left in the VW T4 is simply inserted into the window frame and locked in place with the sliding window part.
The sliding window engages in the original lock, so that it can only be opened from the inside.
The ventilation insert may also be used while driving. It reduces drafts and wind noise and prevents the ingress of insects.
When it rains, even during the journey no water penetrates.
