The Brandrup Second Skin seat covers for the cab correspond to the original design of the VW T6.1 / T6 Multivan. They are made from the same materials that VW uses to cover the seats. They are also equipped with covers for the armrests and headrests. The fit is so good that you can hardly see the difference to the serial upholstery of the seats. As a result, the design of the VW is retained even with the Brandrup covers.
This creates an optimal, value-preserving protection of the serial covering of the seats in the vehicle.
The Brandrup Second Skin protective cover also has the necessary tear seams for the side airbags in the backrest. The seams are made by a sewing machine controlled by a computer and automatically documented very precisely. This ensures that the airbags can be opened safely. All Brandrup Second Skin covers are thoroughly checked and verifiably meet all of VW’s safety requirements. These tests are not required by law. The Brandrup company voluntarily subjects seat covers to the same strict tests that apply to standard car seats.
The covers are very robust and easy to care for. If necessary, they can be cleaned and even washed in the washing machine (in the wool program with mild detergent). They can be easily attached and removed for this purpose. For easier assembly, we recommend the banana tool, which helps when pushing under the plastic.
