The Petromax FT4.5-T Dutch oven is suitable for use directly over the campfire or on the grill and is therefore ideal for every camping adventure. Thanks to the flat bottom, the pot is also well equipped for hobs, ovens or over the gas flame. Because of the robust, cast-iron construction, it is a versatile and durable companion. The durable cast iron mold is suitable for cooking, roasting, stewing and baking. Surface is pre-treated (seasoned finish) and can therefore be used immediately without baking. The lid has a raised edge, making it possible to place embers or coal on the pot. This means that the pot can be heated evenly from all sides and can also be used, for example, for baking bread. With the Petromax stacking grate it is even more versatile. Both grilling and operation as a smoker are possible.
The Petromax Dutch Oven FT4.5-T has a volume of 3.5 litres. This allows dishes for 2-5 people to be prepared. A practical notch in the handle ensures safe hanging over the fire. There is a recess for inserting a thermometer. The lid can also be used as a stand-alone pan with a capacity of 1 litre. Since it gets very hot, the Petromax lid lifter a useful helper.
The cast iron of the pot offers very good heat retention. As a result, many dishes turn out exceptionally well. Thanks to the even heat distribution, the Dutch Oven is also ideal for baking. Due to the constantly evolving patina of the pot, there is a natural non-stick effect. Cleaning and care of the pot is very easy and can be done without washing-up liquid.
