Brandrup ISO-TOP MK VI insulation for VW T6/ T6.1 pop-up roof
For vehicles with an electrohydraulic pop-up roof and large front opening
Temperature regulating indoor tent
The interior tent ISO-TOP Mark VI for VW T6 / T6.1 is the all-round talent. It has been specially developed for the VW T6 / T6.1 pop-up roof and provides perfect insulation. ISO-TOP effectively protects against cooling and heating. The tent is ideal for use between approx. -5 ° to + 45 ° C. There are zipped windows on the front and on the sides. These match the standard windows in the bellows.
The high-tech material has a membrane that is windproof. In addition to thermal insulation, ISO-TOP also offers efficient protection against moisture and dampens noise. The membrane largely protects the bed mattress from moisture when the roof is closed in the rain and with wet bellows.
The noble, cozy interior tent does not require any additional storage space. It is always ready for use without any further effort.
ATTENTION: The pop-up roof can be closed with the ISO-TOP installed. The ISO-TOP front opening must be open when the pop-up roof is closed! When the front opening of the ISO-TOP is rolled down, it is attached to two buttons using a rubber band.
Made in Germany.
Attachment of Iso-Top for VW T6 / T6.1 California
The lower fastening is tight all round using hook-and-loop fastener. For this purpose, fleece tape is attached all around the lower frame of the bellows. This prevents cold air from falling into bed.
The fastening at the top enables precise attachment and the best possible seal. At the front, the upper fastening is made with hook and loop fasteners on five special brackets, which are permanently anchored in the roof panel. The fastening at the top is done with hook and loops.
A strip of fleece is attached to the outermost pad and to the child safety net eyelet with the narrower hook part located on both sides of the ends of the fleece. The second strip is attached to the front and rear eyelets so that it is between the two eyelets. Third attachment is on the eyelet and in the hemstitch of the rear batten. The plate sewn onto the fleece can be inserted into the hemstitch from above and pushed in as far as it will go. It must not come under too much tension. The ISO-TOP can then be easily attached to the loop tape.
A piece of fleece is also glued to the top of the lacquered aluminum roof. For attachment in the corner area there are 4 round fleece strips on each side. There the material has to be under the cladding of the roof so that it wraps around the corners.
The front part of the ISO-TOP can be rolled down and fixed with two rubber bands. There is also a zippered window there. The front section and the optional FLYOUT must be removed to close the roof. If you want to open the front wall of the bellows, the ISO-TOP can also be completely opened and rolled down using two zippers.

When closing the roof, only one window or door facing away from the wind (leeward side) may be open.
ISO-TOP must be open when the roof is closed.
The ISO-TOP MK VI can be retrofitted with a FLYOUT mosquito net To do this, the FLYOUT is pulled into the opening using a zipper and locked in place on the hook-and-loop-fastener.
The rubber band is also particularly practical as a drive-in aid for the roof.
