Insulation for VW T6 / T5 California pitch roof (electrohydraulic)
The insulation for the deployable roof in the VW T6 / T5 California is the all-round talent for the transitional seasons and the summer. ISO top effectively isolates and protects against wind / draft cooling. It is ideal for use between about -5 ° to + 45 ° C.
ISO-TOP is thus designed for year-round use. Between bellows and ISO-TOP, an insulating air cushion is created, which is effective even at high temperatures. Even in the sun in midsummer it is noticeably cooler under the roof. By opening the windows creates a refreshing air flow and the double wall (bellows and ISO-TOP) insulates heat.
In addition, the air heated by the heater is not blown away in cold weather by the wind through the bellows.
On three sides there are large windows with zippers. If there is a bow window in the bellows, ISO-TOP can also be fastened to the center bar.
ISO-TOP is the noble, comfortable indoor tent for the whole year. It does not take up any additional storage space. Therefore, it is always ready for immediate use without further effort.
ISO-TOP MK IV can be left mounted in the pitch roof. The roof can also be closed with mounted ISO-TOP!
Material
The new high-tech material has a membrane that is highly breathable yet windproof. The wind protection, the reduction of humidity, the indoor climate and the safety are excellent. ISO-TOP membrane also largely protects the bed mattress from moisture by closing the roof in rain and with a wet bellows. In addition to thermal insulation (cold / heat), ISO-TOP also provides efficient moisture protection and insulates outside noise.
The back membrane is black, so you can sleep even better.
The lower attachment is completely sealed by means of hook-and-loop fastener. This can cause cold air can not fall into bed. The upper attachment allows for precise attachment and the best possible seal.
At the front, the upper fastening with hook-and-loop fastener is made on five special supports. These are permanently anchored in the front joint of the cladding. The attachment at the top takes place on the existing eyelets of the child protection net, as well as in the hemstitch of a “sailing bat”. At the top, ISO-TOP is fastened with hook-and-loop fasteners.
TIP: When installing California roof is always (without or with ISO-TOP insulation): When you close the roof is always a wind-facing (leeward) window or door to keep open!
The bow window of the ISO-TOP must be open when the roof is closed.
