The Isolite Inside insulation and blackout fits the right-hand window between the C and D pillars in the VW T5 with estate panelling. With Isolite, nobody can see you from the outside as the mats are completely opaque.
In summer, the heat cannot penetrate into the interior. The internal reflective foil preserves the cool indoor air. In winter, Isolite reflects the heat back into the living area. This keeps the cold out and creates an effect similar to that of a vacuum jug.
Isolite can be installed very quickly. It can also be easily removed for travelling and stowed on the bed in the pop-up roof.
Isolite is not simply hung on the pane, but attached to the window frame with hook and loop fasteners. This creates a perfect seal on three sides.
The trapped air between the window pane and Isolite cannot circulate in this way and escape upwards or downwards. The entire surface is always tightly closed.
