The Isolite Inside insulation from Brandrup fits the windows in the driver’s cab of the VW T6.1, which is equipped with a navigation system that recognizes traffic signs. This set consists of three parts and contains the mats for the windscreen and both side windows.
In summer, the heat cannot penetrate into the interior. The inner reflective foil conserves the cool air. In winter, Isolite reflects the heat back into the living area. This keeps the cold outside and creates an effect like in a vacuum flask. The insulation is also completely opaque. Therefore nobody can see you from the outside.
Isolite is very easy to attach. It can be easily removed for the journey and e.g. stowed on the bed in the pop-up roof. Isolite is not hung on the pane, but attached to the frame of the window with hook and loop fastener. This creates a perfect seal on three sides. In this way, the trapped air between the pane and the Isolite cannot circulate and escape. As a result, the entire area is always tightly closed.
