Thermal insulation for the windows in the driver’s cabin
The insulation set for the Grand California 600/680 “ISOLITE Outdoor PLUS” consists of the insulation mat ISOLITE Outdoor for the outside windshield and two ISOLITE Inside mats for the side windows in the inside of the driver’s cab.
Isolite is designed for use in both summer and winter.
The ISOLITE Outdoor protective mat is placed on the windshield. It is attached inside of the A-pillar with hook and loop fastener. When the door is closed, pinching secures the holder of the ISOLITE. Access to the vehicle is still possible as required. The mat does not have to be removed.
The two ISOLITE Inside for the side windows provide the best insulation. These mats are also made to fit perfectly. It is attached to the frame with hook and loop fastener so that there is a perfect seal on three sides. As a result, the trapped air between the pane and the ISOLITE cannot circulate. So the air cannot escape upwards (summer) or downwards (winter). The entire area is always tightly closed and the effect of double glazing is created. With Isolite it is easy to create a feeling of homely cosiness.
