The Brandrup iXTEND folding bed for the VW T6.1 Multivan and California Beach is designed to expand over the existing bed. It offers very good sleeping comfort. The division of the mattress is chosen so that you cannot feel the edges. Even the strap locks are padded.
The bed is particularly useful because it can also be partially folded down. This makes it easy to create a padded storage area. The iXTEND folding bed for the VW T6.1 Multivan / Beach is four-part and can be folded onto the rear cushion. If necessary, it can be unfolded forward with one hand. With the folding bed you have a very comfortable and even lying surface across the full width of the vehicle even in California Beach.
The composite consists of two layers of soft foam, which offer very comfortable lying comfort. The third layer, made from a hard special foam, evens out the surface.
If a Multiflexboard is not used in the Multivan, there are three optional belt holders with quick-release buckles behind the backrest of the 3-seater bench for transporting the folding bed.
The Brandrup iXTEND bed is a perfect fit for all VW T6.1 Multivan and California Beach. In vehicles with a 3-seater bench and two swivel seats in the second row of seats, the backrests of the swivel seats must be folded completely forward. The VW Multiflexboard is not necessary, but it doesn’t bother you either. The foam can be removed from the cover to wash it. The cover, like the cold foam, is flame-retardant.
