Cast iron pot with aroma profile in the lid
The Petromax KR2 saucepan is suitable for use directly over the campfire, on the barbecue and also directly on the cooker. This makes it ideal for any adventurer. The aroma profile made of knobs in the lid ensures the special intensity of the flavour of the food. The studs ensure that the rising vapour condenses again and drips down. Evenly distributed over the food, the full flavour remains exactly where it belongs. To ensure that handling and serving is just as easy as the preparation, the casserole has a sturdy handle and 2 side spouts for easy serving of sauce, for example.
The durable mould made of grey cast iron is suitable for cooking, frying and braising. The surface is pre-treated (seasoned finish) and can therefore be used immediately without baking. The lid has a raised rim, making it possible to place embers or charcoal directly on the pot. In this way, the pan can be heated evenly from all sides and can also be used for baking bread, for example.
Easy cleaning and care of the Dutch oven
Clean with a little warm water and a brush; stubborn incrustations can be easily removed with a ring cleaner. Under no circumstances should washing-up liquid be used, as this destroys the valuable patina. From time to time, the pot should be rubbed with a little neutral vegetable oil or Petromax care paste in order to enjoy the cast iron for a long time.
