The Petromax flat bowl made of olive wood with oil wax finish is an eye-catcher in itself with its stylish grain. It is ideal for stirring, ladling and serving and is perfect for cast-iron pans and Dutch ovens, as it does not damage the valuable patina when touched. The bowl can also be used as a small plate. It has a long shelf life and is food-safe. It has a practical leather strap for convenient hanging.
The Petromax range made of olive wood is produced in a particularly sustainable way. Petromax uses the wood of the Olea Europaea for production when no more olives can be harvested from the trees. Only water and mild soap are required for care. Occasional oiling with a little olive oil makes the flat bowl a long-lasting product. The olive wood may discolour if strongly colouring foods are used. However, this does not affect the function. Nevertheless, the wood should not be exposed to direct sunlight and high temperature jumps.
The flat bowls are handmade in Germany. The Petromax engraving with the dragon logo makes it unique. The beautiful wood of the olive, with its dark-grained core and light outer growth rings, is emphasised by the perfected craftsmanship.
