Poffertjes pan for up to 30 mini pancakes by the campfire
With the Petromax poffertjes pan, the Dutch mini pancakes can be prepared over the campfire in no time at all. Whether over an open fire, in the embers, on the barbecue or simply in the oven at home – desserts are quick and easy to prepare in this practical cast iron pan.
The poffertjes pan has 30 moulds in which the pancakes are fried. The cast iron has excellent heat conductivity so that the poffertjes are baked to an even golden yellow colour. With a diameter of 30 cm and two sturdy handles on the sides, the poffertjes pan is particularly easy to handle. The pan fits perfectly on the Petromax Atago outdoor grill – here the pan can be placed precisely. Thanks to the flattened underside, the pan also sits firmly on a baking tray or grill rack. Poffertjes can even be prepared on the hob.
Care and cleaning of the pan
After use, simply clean the pan with a little warm water. Never use washing-up liquid, as this will destroy the valuable patina. The patina provides a natural non-stick effect and should always be maintained. From time to time, rub the pan with a little neutral vegetable oil or Petromax Care Paste.
