The side wall for the VW T6.1 / T6 / T5 California awning is very robust and extremely flexible in use. It is suitable for attachment to any awning arm, meaning it can be attached to the awning on both the right and left. Attaching it to the roll-up awning is child’s play. To do this, the awning must be fully cranked out so that the awning arm reaches its full length. Then the upper end of the side wall can be placed over the awning arm and the zipper can be closed.
The side wall can also be rolled up and secured to the awning arm. Fasteners with hook and loop fastener are already attached to the side wall.
The bracing on the floor should be elastic and loose, but always at a slight angle (not vertical). This creates significantly more space and reduces resistance to wind. However, if the wind is stronger, the awning must still be retracted, as all awning manufacturers specify.

Scope of delivery: Side wall for the roll-up awning made of Airtex Top with dimensions of approximately 1.79 x 2.03 m (W x H). Fastens with zippers on the arms of the awning. Non-slip inserts and hook and loop fastener. The accessories for bracing the floor are also included.
In order to secure the side wall optimally, additional guy accessories are also available. It is essential and you should always use it when using the sails and sidewalls on different surfaces.
