Petromax Wooden spatula with branding
Made from local cherry wood
The Petromax wood spatula should not be missing at any fireplace. Made from local cherry wood, the spatula is particularly suitable for use in cast-iron cooking pans – such as Dutch ovens or coated pans. The end of the spatula is bevelled and curved upwards so that precise turning and lifting are possible. The soft wood makes it easy to work with without destroying the valuable patina or coating.
There is a hole at the top of the wooden handle so that the spatula can also be hung up.
The right care for the wooden spatula
Wood is a natural material and should therefore only be cleaned gently. Prolonged soaking causes the wood to swell, which can lead to cracks. For thorough cleaning, you should therefore only use a little warm water – if necessary with a little washing-up liquid or scrubbing agent. From time to time, the wooden spoon should be rubbed with a little warm, neutral vegetable oil and left to dry overnight. This keeps the wood in good condition and you can enjoy your wooden spoon for a long time.
