The iXTEND Allround folding bed has the dimensions: approx. 115 x 202 x 6.5 cm.
The folding bed is spread over the existing bed and offers excellent sleeping comfort. Here, the subdivision of the parts is chosen so that one does not feel the edges of the 2-bank. The seat belt locks are also over-padded.
The flame retardant foam can be removed if you want to clean the VW T6 Originalstoffbezug. The cover is washable at 30°C in the wool program.
The California Faltbett is in three parts and can also be folded on the rear cushion. If necessary, unfold it with a handle forward.
The iXTEND folding bed in the Allround version
The variant “Allround” fits optimally with all VW T5 California Comfortline and VW T6 California Ocean / Coast. This requires the use of the bed extension in the lower position and above the original standard rear cushion. The use of the iXTEND Allround folding bed with the iXTEND PAD is only possible with the VW T5 in the upper position. The material thickness is about 6.5 cm.
All iXTEND folding beds can be folded up and lean against the back of the California 2-seater bench. This creates a gapless, large storage or lying area. This is very convenient for the storage of luggage on the rear cushion but also as an easily accessible cot or as a large “travel berth” for a dog.
The iXTEND folding beds for all VW T6 / T5 California models (also Beach) have a standard bracket for easy attachment to the headrests of the bench seat back.
Two iXTEND parts can be folded onto the backrest and attached to the headrests: creating a very good baby cot or spacious, down-and-to-front cushioned, dog-sized and luggage storage space.

With the iXTEND Allround folding bed in the VW T5 California Comfortline, you can also sleep in the upper position of the bed extension. As a result, you gain approx. +49.60 liters more storage space under the bed. For the VW T6 California Ocean, Coast, the iXTEND Allround Folding Bed is all that is needed – without the iXTEND PAD!
The iXTEND fitted sheets are designed for the iXTEND folding beds and for the upholstery in the roof of the California models. Therefore, they fit very well.
