HC Steps – the innovative step protection for iKamper ladders
It can quickly become slippery on the ladder to the rooftop tent, especially with wet feet or on socks. HC Steps, the innovative ladder protection from iKamper, can help. The material minimises the risk of slipping on narrow ladder rungs, while the clever design makes it easier to get in and out of the roof tent. Especially when sand still sticks to your feet or snow and mud make for wet soles.
But even on dry feet, the product extension makes it much more comfortable to step onto the rungs of the ladder. Instead of having to climb into the roof tent on narrow rungs, the HC Steps ensure that the ladder can be walked on almost like a normal staircase, as the individual rungs become real steps.
Quick installation of the HC Steps
Another special feature of the “High Comfort” steps: Reflective strips on the rungs ensure even greater safety. This makes the individual steps easier to recognise – and less likely to be missed. Hook and loop fasteners make mounting on the ladder particularly easy. Once fitted, the HC can always remain in place.

Note: The HC Steps can remain on the Skycamp ladder when the roof tent is closed. The X-Cover is an exception. Here the steps are removed before dismantling.
