The side wall for the 270° ExoShell awning creates a sheltered area in front of the roof tent in persistent rain, wind or blazing sun. The waterproof side walls are simply attached to the awning with hook and loop fasteners and protect against the elements as well as prying eyes and annoying insects.

Up to five awning sections can be fitted in total – two interconnected side walls for the front and two for the rear and one inner wall. This closes the awning towards the vehicle so that wind, moisture and insects cannot penetrate from this side either.

The two-part side walls for the front and rear, as well as the inner wall, can all be used individually or in combination with each other.

Highlights of the ExoShell side wall

The four extra-large windows allow plenty of light into the interior, even on cloudy days. The practical rain canopies above the windows can be freely tilted and protect against too much sun and rain. At the entrance, the side wall for the front is hooked into the awning in such a way that the awning itself stands like a canopy over the entrance door. So when you open the zip, you are already in a dry place.

With the ExoShell 270° awning from iKamper, you can protect an incredibly large area around your roof top tent from rain and sun. The awning is quicker and easier to set up than you can pour yourself a well-earned coffee in the morning. In most cases, the Makise works without the integrated support legs. On windy days, however, they can be folded out in a single movement. When the awning is not in use, it disappears into its robust aluminium hard shell housing in the blink of an eye.
