The BusBox-1/2 is the first choice when it comes to kitchen boxes for buses and vans and fits over 60 different vehicle models. It is simply placed in the boot and the bus is transformed into a compact motorhome: complete with bed, kitchen, water supply and storage space.
The bed is easily removable on the BusBox-1/2. This allows the kitchen box and the bed to be lifted into the vehicle one after the other. Once fixed, the kitchen is ready for use in a few seconds. The bed, too, is folded out and ready for the night in just one movement. So nothing stands in the way of flexible travel pleasure.
The BusBox-3 is specially designed for the VW T7 Multivan, while the BusBox-4 has been developed for the VW ID.Buzz.

The BusBox in detail
2 variants – Suitable for 60 vehicle models
The BusBox is available in two versions – the BusBox-1 and the BusBox-2. The kitchen box and the dimensions of the lying surface are identical, only the fold-down elements of the mattress differ in length. Thus, the two standard BusBox models fit into around 60 different buses or vans.
With the BusBox-1, both bed segments are almost the same length. In the BusBox-2, the middle segment is slightly shorter so that the bed requires less height in the vehicle interior when folded out. The upper bed segment is correspondingly longer to achieve the 195 cm bed length. The BusBox-2 is used when there is a rear bench seat in the vehicle, because the folded-down rear seat backrests are higher than the underside of the bed. The box is therefore placed on a removable platform and can thus be folded down over the backrest.
Special case T5/T6 with sleeping bench
In the VW T5/T6/T6.1 Multivan and Beach with fold-down 3-seater sleeper bench, the BusBox kitchen with the QUQUQ folding mattress can be used without the folding mechanism – this saves weight. The mattress lies folded on the kitchen box while driving and is folded out onto the folded-down sleeping bench for sleeping.
Cooking drawer The cooking drawer is pulled out on telescopic rails that have a load capacity of 45 kg. An aluminium windbreak guarantees cooking pleasure in any weather.
Cooker The 2-burner cooker with integrated gas cartridge does not require TÜV approval.
Water supply Two 10 L canisters provide sufficient fresh water, which can be conveniently drained into the two plastic bowls via a drain tap.
Mattress The 3-piece mattress made of high-quality cold foam offers high sleeping comfort with a thickness of 10 cm.
Bed The folding bed is completely removable and has extendable folding legs and distance adapters.
Material The kitchen box is made of waterproof glued multiplex wood coated with phenolic resin. The aluminium profile strips and the steel hinges and handles ensure stability.
Weight The box with cooking drawer weighs a total of around 50 kg, the bed with mattress an additional 25 kg. In addition, there is the equipment such as cooker, canisters and bowls.
