Lock bracket for Petromax cool box – security for peaceful nights under the open sky
The lock bracket for the Petromax cool box provides additional security for the ultra-passive cooling system. While the lock plate on the cooler in combination with a standard U-lock prevents unauthorised opening, the cool box can be additionally protected from being carried away with the help of the lock bracket. Simply chain the cooler to a tree or the bumper and it is effectively protected against theft.
Plug in and connect
The lock bracket made of robust 4mm thick stainless steel is simply inserted into the handle of the cool box from above. When the lid is closed, the lock holder locks in place automatically. It cannot be removed from the outside, so it provides an anchor point for the chain and lock. This way the provisions are secured even if you move away from the campsite.
The Made in Germany lock bracket also has an integrated bottle opener.
