The Petromax loaf pan is suitable for use directly over the campfire, on the grill and directly in the embers. This makes it ideal for any camping adventure. The mold is also well suited for baking ovens. Because of the sturdy, cast iron design, it is a versatile and durable companion. The durable cast iron pan is ideal for preparing juicy cakes, oven-fresh bread, casseroles or crispy roasts.
The surface is pre-treated (seasoned finish) and therefore ready for immediate use without any preparatory work. The lid has a raised rim and thus also makes it possible to place embers or coals on top. This allows the pan to be heated evenly from all sides and can also be used for baking bread, for example. Two sturdy handles guarantee easy handling, especially with the Petromax Aramid gloves. Turned upside down, the lid can also be used as a grill pan because of the practical grooved profile inside.
The cast iron provides very good heat retention. As a result, many dishes succeed exceptionally well. Thanks to the even heat distribution, the pan is also ideal for baking. Because of the constantly evolving patina, there is a natural non-stick effect. Cleaning and care of the cast-iron loaf pan is very easy and requires no detergent.
