Petromax Atago Fireplace
Grill, oven, stove or fireplace with infinitely variable air supply and temperature control
Petromax Atago is a versatile fireplace. With charcoal, bricketts or firewood, it can be used as a grill. Without the grate, the Atago turns into a fire bowl where firewood can be used to create a cozy campfire. When using a Petromax fire pot set in the Atago at the same time, it can be used like an oven.
Air supply and temperature can be regulated continuously with Atago. Due to the completely open air supply, rapid heating is possible. The fireplace is collapsible. When folded, it has a height of only 15 cm and is therefore very easy to store. It can be folded out in just one movement.
The Atago also has a two-cylinder design. This allows the heat to be optimally stored inside. The outer cylinder hardly heats up even during longer operation.
Three modes of operation for the Petromax Atago
Grill
The Petromax Atago can be used quite classically as a grill, fired by charcoal or briquettes. A matching grill grate is included. In addition, the corresponding plancha grill plate with the matching cooking support or grill insert can be used. Thus, in addition to the grilled food, drinks or small pot dishes can be prepared. The Atago can also be ideally combined with the Petromax rotating waffle iron. The turning attachment is tailored precisely to the dimensions of the grill so that it can be turned without lifting.
Oven and stove
The Petromax Atago also works with the fire pot or wok. To do this, simply place the cast iron fire pot on the glowing briquettes in the Atago. The Atago encloses the fire pot and thus ensures an optimal heat yield in combination with the cast iron fire pot. The wok, on the other hand, is placed directly on top of the round opening of the Petromax Atago. The Atago can also be expanded to a convection oven: With the help of the additionally available convection dome, you can prepare pizza.
Fireplace
After using the Petromax Atago to prepare food, you can now light a cozy campfire for the evening directly in the Atago. The round shape makes it particularly easy to stack firewood and brushwood in a pyramid shape.
