Petromax Fire Kit
For quickly lighting a fireplace
With the Petromax fire kit, fireplaces can be lit very easily and in the shortest possible time. The kit helps, regardless of whether it’s a campfire, charcoal or briquettes.
The kit consists of 6 ignition bars that can be set up in the cardboard packaging. The tinder placed in the centre can then be lit with the matches provided or with a lighter.
The compact packaging makes the kits easy to carry.
Safety matches contain oxidising agent (KClO3) and fuel and are normally ignited by means of the enclosed rubbing surface. However, if there is excessive friction on a smooth, thermally non-conductive surface, the matches can also ignite. The matches are flammable. This can lead to burns or uncontrolled, life-threatening fire.
