The Petromax Aramid Handle Cover for Fire Pans effectively protects your hands from burns. The handle cover is made of suede leather and aramid fibres and can withstand temperatures of up to 250°C. This makes handling the pan at the fireplace a safe experience. The glowing orange colour is also a real eye-catcher in the kitchen and on the barbecue.

Aramid fibres are organic synthetic fibres that are characterised above all by their very high strength and extreme heat and fire resistance.

How heat protection for the (outdoor) kitchen works

It is very easy to use: simply slide the cover over the handle of the pan and it can be lifted safely. The rough leather ensures a good grip at all times. Inside, the particularly heat-resistant aramid fibres provide excellent insulation. The handle cover fits perfectly to the Petromax fire pans with handle and many pans from other manufacturers. The aramid handle cover can be changed between the pans during use. This means that even more elaborate dishes can be prepared without any problems.

The right care for the Petromax Aramid handle cover

Wipe the handle cover dry only and clean with a soft brush. If it is damaged, it is no longer suitable for use.

Note: Prolonged contact with hot objects can change the surface of the leather. However, this does not affect the heat resistance of the aramid handle cover.
