The Petromax professional lid lifter combines safety and comfort in a well thought-out design. As the cast-iron pots and their lids from Petromax offer good and even heat distribution, they also get very hot during the cooking process. This is where the professional lid lifter provides a clear advantage: thanks to the ingenious clamping mechanism, the lids of the Dutch ovens can be lifted quickly and easily. The lid is simply hooked into the handle and cannot slip. This makes it easy to lift and put back on. The two wooden handles sit comfortably in the hand and provide a secure grip.
The lifter has a total length of approx. 35 cm, so that sufficient distance to the hot metal is maintained. Burns caused by careless handling of the hot lids are therefore a thing of the past. If the professional lid lifter is not needed, its shape makes it easy to keep handy next to the fireplace or in its storage place.
Suitable for all Petromax Dutch Ovens
The lid lifter fits all sizes of Petromax Dutch Ovens and loaf pans. For Dutch ovens from other manufacturers, please note that the lid must have a handle into which the nose of the lid lifter can engage.
