The Brandrup iXTEND folding bed is spread out over the existing bed in the VW T5. It offers excellent comfort and therefore enables the best sleep. The division of the bed is chosen so that you cannot feel the edges underneath. The belt buckles are also overpadded. The folding bed is made up of three parts and can be placed on the rear cushion. If necessary, it can be unfolded forward with one hand.
The foam can be removed and is flame retardant. The cover is made from the original VW California fabric and can therefore be washed in the wool program at 30°C.
All iXTEND folding beds can be opened and leaned against the back of the California bench. This creates a large, gap-free storage or lying area. This is practical for storing luggage on the rear cushion. The place is also suitable as a large place to lie down for a dog. The iXTEND folding bed comes standard with a holder for easy attachment to the headrests. This creates a spacious area that is padded at the bottom and front.

The “Allround” variant fits perfectly in the VW T5 California Comfortline when using the bed extension in the lower position. It is placed over the original rear cushion. In this model, the iXTEND Allround folding bed with the iXTEND PAD can even be used in the upper position.
With the Brandrup iXTEND PAD you can also sleep in the upper position of the rear grille on the iXTEND Allround folding bed in the VW T5 California Comfortline. You also gain around +49.60 liters more storage space under the bed. The iXTEND High Comfort bed is available for the VW T6 California Ocean, Coast.
In addition to the beds, there are also tailor-made bed sheets in different versions for pop-up roofs, beds and other cushions for the VW models.
